NGH’s First Chinese Instructor
Training The instructor course is a certified hypnotherapist certified by NGH in the United States, led by Dr. Chen Yide. He became NGH’s first Chinese instructor trainer in 2004, with 12 years of training experience. A renowned hypnotherapist in Hong Kong is also a disciple of Dr. Chan.
Extensive Clinical Application Experience
Dr. Chen is a practicing dentist skilled in applying hypnotherapy to medical treatment to achieve synergistic effects. In recent years, Dr. Chen has focused on helping cancer patients settle physically and mentally through hypnosis. He emphasizes that treatment comes from outside, while healing comes from within.

This course adds real-time Cantonese interpretation services, making it easier for students to understand the content during learning, making hypnosis techniques easier to master, and enabling them to dedicate themselves to the industry of nurturing the next generation of therapists.

Course Features and Objectives
- Those who complete this course and pass the exam can apply to become certified instructors of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), legally teach NGH hypnotherapist courses, and receive an NGH Hypnotist certificate.
- Dr. Chen Yide, Taiwan’s first NGH-recognized hypnosis trainer, comes to Hong Kong to teach. The entire course, including teaching and assessment, is completed in Hong Kong, so you don’t need to travel abroad to obtain the ‘certification qualification’—a rare opportunity!
- Real-time Cantonese interpretation— enabling students to better master course techniques and achieve comprehensive understanding.
Target Audience
Participants with one of the following qualifications are eligible to apply*
- ABH – American Board of Hypnotherapist Certification and Certified NLP Practitioner Certificate
(Course Recommendation: ‘Hypnotherapist Professional Course‘ – ABH Certified in the USA). ）； Or - ACHE – The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners’ accredited certificate; or
- IMDHA-International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association accreditation certificate; or
- NGH – National Guild of Hypnotists Certificate of Recognition#
- Other internationally recognized hypnotherapist certificates
*A copy of the relevant certificate must be presented to the institute for confirmation

Certificate Issuance:
- Our clinic can apply for an NGH Hypnotherapist Certified Instructor certificate from the NGH Society (US$1,000 required to the NGH Society USA; thereafter the renewal fee is US$125 per year – subject to NGH announcement).
- Students interested in hypnosis but without a hypnotherapy certificate can first enroll in the professional hypnotherapist course (ABH certified in the USA) (original price HK$4500; students enrolled in NGH instructor courses enjoy a tuition waiver of HK$1,000).
