Currently employed beauty professionals and those interested in obtaining the “Intense Pulsed Light Equipment Operator Skills Test” and recognized certification.

Course objectives

4. General Precautions (I)

• • Skin problems that require intense pulsed light treatment should not be used by non-medical personnel
  • Not suitable for exposure to intense pulsed light
  • Establish specific guidelines for different irradiation procedures
  • Supporting procedures and skincare methods
  • Normal reactions after irradiation
  • Adverse reactions that may occur after exposure to intense pulsed light
  • Procedures for managing adverse reactions
  • Cases requiring referral to a doctor for treatment

  • High-Funding Tuition: Only $2925 – tuition payable for individuals with a monthly income of $12,501 to $20,000
  • General subsidized tuition: Only $9,750 – tuition payable for individuals with a monthly income of $20,001 or above

Admission requirements

• • Form 3 or equivalent education, and have completed 300 hours of learning in beauty care (200 hours of training course and 100 hours of practice); And have completed at least 24 hours of training (18 hours of training and 6 hours of practice) of operating intense pulsed light devices; or
  • 2 years of full-time experience operating intense pulsed light instruments; and
  • Aged 18 or above

Course objectives

1. Students will master the theories and skills required by medical aesthetics professional technical consultants for postoperative skin management
   in injections, lasers, thread embedding, HIFU, and PLASMA.
2. Assisting students in applying for the ITEC Customer Service and Skin Management Professional Consultant Certificate (Level 3) and KBDA Korean Medical Aesthetics Professional Technical Consultant Certificate (Level 5)

Course Content Overview

• • Definition and Purpose of Medical Skin Care
  • Understand the appropriate proportions for facial contouring injections using various botulinum toxin and filler types
  • Medical-grade safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Recognizing and receiving medical skin care; Characteristics of skin types (aging, combination sensitive skin, eczema, hormonal spots, rosacea)
  • Understand the types of postoperative dermal tissue reconstruction care
  • Understand and distinguish between the applications of medical instruments and cosmetic devices
  • Learn about commonly used medical aesthetic technology demonstration procedures, including instruments such as ultra-picosecond laser, HIFU, THERMAGE,
  • PLASMA plasma, needle-free thread embedding
  • Understanding the classification of subcutaneous injection (hyaluronic acid; CaHA, BOTOX,
  • FILLER, SCULPTRA (PLLA), and medical cosmetic rejuvenation technologies
  • Understanding the golden ratio of facial features,
  • Precautions for peptide thread contouring surgery
  • Non-invasive lasers, IPL, PLASMA, RF and other instruments for practical laser and IPL overall mock exam practice

Admission requirements

• 1. Form 3 or equivalent education, and have completed 300 hours of learning in beauty care (200 hours of training and 100 hours of practice); And have completed at least 24 hours of learning to operate intense pulsed light devices (18 hours of training and 6 hours of practice); or
  2. Completed ITEC Laser and Intense Pulsed Light Diploma (Level 4)
  3. Aged 18 or above
