Nutrition Knowledge I (Understanding Nutrition) Basic Certificate (Part-time)

Course objectives

• Provides students with basic knowledge of nutrition
• After completing the course, participants gain a deeper understanding of nutrition, can accurately answer customers’ simple questions about dietary nutrition, and introduce proper approaches to nutrition

Admission requirements

• Applicants with Primary 6 education and at least two years of experience in the beauty industry (applicants who have not reached Primary 6 education level must pass the Chinese entrance written exam); or
• Those interested in switching to the beauty industry, with a Form 5 education level and work experience; or
• Those interested in switching to the beauty industry, with a Form 3 education level, and at least two years of work experience

• Fully subsidized tuition: Fully subsidized – for applicants with no or low income (monthly income of HKD 12,001 or below).

Certificate in Eyelash Lifting and Extensions Techniques (Part-time)

Course objectives

• Students will master eyelash correction and eyelash extension techniques, and provide beauty services to clients in beauty-related workplaces according to personal and operational hygiene guidelines.

Admission requirements

• Have three years or more of work experience in the beauty industry or hold a qualification framework under the ‘Recognition of Prior Experience’ mechanism. In the competency assessment of the beauty industry, have obtained any Level 2 qualification in any specialization; and
• Graduates of any Level 2 beauty care-related courses (such as the “Nutrition Knowledge I (Understanding Nutrition) Foundation Certificate (Part-time)”, “Aromatherapy Beauty II Foundation Certificate (Part-time)”, “Four Seasons Color Studies I (Makeup) Foundation Certificate (Part-time)”, “Four Seasons Color Studies II (Image Style) Foundation Certificate (Part-time)”), etc.).
